Thankfully, the fictitious Rogue One planets that have been brought to life from these places aren’t nearly as difficult to pronounce! Nearly all of Iceland’s municipalities are tongue twisters and nearly impossible to spell out or say perfectly. The country was also used for a few of the snow scenes (Starkiller base) in Star Wars: The Force Awakens. Probably the most beautiful of any Star Wars location in filming history, Iceland was used for quite a few of Rogue One‘s planets.
